Getting from the Club Entrance to the Pool
The club is large and the pool is difficult to find. We strongly recommend you watch the video below!
Once you’ve changed, continue through the changing rooms, pass the showers, and you’ll arrive at the pool.
At Reception
Do ask for a towel at Reception – otherwise you will have to track all the way back from the changing rooms! Please take only one towel. If you need more than one, kindly bring an extra towel from home. Lockers require a padlock. If you forget to bring one, padlocks are available for purchase at reception.
Changing Rooms
The changing rooms include lockers, showers, hairdryers, and swimsuit spin dryers for your convenience. The lockers require a padlock. If you don’t have one you can purchase one at the health club reception.
Pool Dimensions
The pool is a traditional rectangular swimming pool measuring 16m x 5m. Lessons take place in a dedicated lane.
Pool Depth
The pool is 1.2m end to end. The teaching lane is accessed by a ladder.
Pool rules
The pool is only 1.2m deep and not appropriate for diving or jumping. Pool surrounds can be slippery so please take care. Glass (including mobile phones) is not allowed poolside as if glass is broken in or around the pool, the whole pool needs to be drained and refilled.
Entering the pool – once your instructor has signalled you may enter
You may only enter the pool once your instructor has entered the water and invited you in. If you are early for the lesson you will need to wait for the instructor to arrive and must not enter the pool beforehand to practice or swim.
Leaving the pool – at the end of your lesson
At the end of the lesson you will need to exit the pool. Staying on in the pool to practice is not permitted – sorry.
If an instructor needs to exit the pool during a lesson for any reason they may ask you to exit the pool as well until they are back in the pool hall.
