Yes, we are currently selling gift cards! The lessons are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
How do I go about purchasing a gift card online?
It’s super easy to purchase a gift card online!
- Go to our online booking website
- Choose the number of lessons (1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15) that you would like to gift
- Add the recipient’s details and your details
- Tick the box for the gift card to be emailed and select the email delivery date
- Personalise the card with an image
- Personalise the card with a message
- Click MAKE PURCHASE
- Success!
Having made the purchase you will receive your purchase receipt as well as an automatic email with a pdf of the gift cert attached (which you may print to give if you wish). And on the selected day the recipient will receive an email with their wonderful gift cert!

What level of swimmer are gift cards suitable for?
Gift cards are suitable for all levels of swimmers! Some of our gift card swimmers are just starting out with their swimming, some are reasonable swimmers looking to further develop their technique and others are skilled swimmers looking to fine-tune a stroke or skill.
Who buys gift cards?
We see gift cards being purchased in many different situations:
- from one partner, fiancee or spouse to another
- from kids to a mum or dad
- from a parent to an adult child and vice versa
- from friend to friend
- from colleague to colleague
We even see swimmers buying them for themselves or suggesting them as gifts that they would like to receive!
What occasions are gift cards given for?
We see gift cards given for a wide range of occasions: birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, pre-honeymoon, pre-holiday, pre-triathlon.. and just because…
How many lessons should I gift?
This is entirely up to you! You may wish to gift a lesson or two just to get the swimmer started or you may wish to see the swimmer through their whole swimming project.
How many lessons would a complete beginner need?
We wish we could give a specific answer to this but it’s difficult as it varies significantly. To give you a sense of scale of the project it’s a bit like going from couch to a 10k or even half-marathon.
What does the design of the gift card look like?
The design of the card looks like the one above – but you can select the image and write your own message.
Can I hide the value of the lessons on the gift card?
Unfortunately, this is not possible with the software.
However, if this is very important to you let us know as there is a workaround. This can take a few hours to a few days. We will then send the new gift card to you for onward delivery. The automatic delivery system won’t be available.
What does the swimmer receive?
If you select the email delivery option the swimmer will receive an email with your personalised gift card on the selected day.
If you would like to give a physical card you may print the pdf that the software system sends you after you make the purchase.
When can the swimmer start their lessons?
The swimmer may start their lessons at any time within the validity period.
How long are gift cards valid for?
Traditionally our gift cards were valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. However, in these current times we have extended the validity period to 12 months from the date of purchase.
How does the swimmer activate/redeem the card?
Easy! The swimmer just needs to call us with the number printed on the card. We will have a good chat with them to understand their needs, interests and expectations. We will set up an account for them and get them started. We promise to take good care of them!
Can the swimmer select their location, days and times?
Yes, absolutely.
