What the gift card can be used for
Your gift card can be used for any of our adult 1:1 swimming lessons at Immerse.
About the swimmer
Will this suit the swimmer I have in mind?
Yes. Our teaching is designed specifically for adults, and we adapt to the swimmer — not the other way around.
Whether they’re anxious, starting from scratch, wanting to feel smoother in the water, or training for an event, we meet them exactly where they are. Lessons take place with the instructor in the water, adjusting to their pace, goals and learning style.
You don’t need to know their level — we’ll listen, understand and tailor everything once they get in touch.
Locations, timing & instructors
Can they choose their location?
Yes. They can choose any pool listed on immerse.co.uk — all warm, private and ideal for calm, focused learning. Our locations may evolve over time; the website always shows the latest options.
Will there be times that suit them?
Yes. We teach from early mornings to late evenings, and across weekends. Many of our swimmers have unpredictable schedules, so lessons are intentionally flexible. We’ll help them find times that genuinely work for their life.
Can they choose their instructor?
Yes. We’ll match them with someone who feels right — whether that’s gentle and steady, highly technical or event-focused. Confidence level, goals and teaching style all shape the pairing.
Using the gift card
How do they redeem the card?

We’ll guide them through choosing a location, finding times and getting started.
What are the policies on redeeming and completing lessons?
Gift cards must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase.
Redeeming simply means getting in touch to use the gift card to set up their lessons — so do encourage them not to leave it too late. Once redeemed, they then have 2–5 months to take their lessons, depending on the number of lessons on the card.
Do you have availability?
Yes — though some times of year are busy. Redeeming early gives the widest choice of days, times and locations.
How long are the lessons?
Each lesson is 45 minutes — long enough to learn well, without tiring or losing focus. It’s the sweet spot for adult learning.
Buying a gift card
If I choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 lessons, will the price show on the card?
No — only the lesson count appears.
Can I choose a custom value amount instead?
Yes. Whether it’s a gentle nudge or a larger journey in the water, every gift is meaningful. Custom value amounts do appear on the card.
Can I gift the equivalent of 5, 10 or 15 lessons?
Yes. Larger gifts are absolutely fine — you can add a custom amount or call us and we’ll take care of it.
Is there a minimum or maximum custom amount?
Minimum: £25. For gifts above our online maximum, just call and we’ll arrange it personally.
Will “X” lessons be enough?
Every lesson helps. Some gifts set a journey in motion; others help someone continue it — both are wonderful.
Can I buy a gift card for myself?
If you’re new to Immerse, absolutely — you’re welcome to buy a gift card for yourself.
If you already swim with us (or have in the past), we ask that you continue booking through our usual channels, as the online gift cards are set up especially for gifting.
Can I choose when to send the gift card?
You can choose to have the gift card emailed instantly, or you can schedule it for a special occasion.
The recipient then receives an email in their inbox with a fully branded card they can either print, download, or save to their phone’s built-in wallet system.
Just be careful to enter the delivery email address correctly.
Refunds, expiry & other details
Can I get a refund?
If you’re the purchaser, yes — within 14 days of purchase, provided the card hasn’t been redeemed. Once redeemed, the refund period ends because the service has begun.
What happens if the gift card expires?
After 6 months, unredeemed cards expire and can’t be extended or refunded. Please encourage the swimmer to get in touch in good time.
Is the card transferable?
No — it’s intended for the swimmer it was bought for.
What if it’s lost or stolen?
Keep the email and code safe. If lost, we’ll help where possible once we verify the purchase. If someone else uses the code before redemption, we unfortunately can’t reissue the lessons.
