Package Validity

How long are my lessons valid for?

‌This depends on your package of lessons. The validity period for scheduled lessons is set out below. The validity period runs from the date of purchase.

‌Where purchasing online you can see the validity periods for each package on our website before booking. They are also stated in your welcome email and the exact expiry date is stated in your online portal.‌

Almost all swimmers will take their lessons well within the relevant validity period. ‌

If however you have outstanding lessons and your expiry is drawing near you will receive two automated emails from our system reminding you to take your lessons. These are courtesy reminders. The validity period remains in place even in the unlikely event that you do not receive these emails. ‌

How do I make sure I don’t run into a validity problem?

‌We recommend that at the time of booking you diarise the expiry of your package.‌

We also highly recommend taking regular lessons. Swimmers who take regular lessons have far better learning outcomes and don’t run into validity issues.‌

We also encourage you to take your lessons in good time and well before the expiry. If you leave it too late you may find that the times you can make are already fully booked and the package cannot be extended.‌

I can’t complete all my lessons within the validity period what should I do?

‌If you can’t take your lessons within the relevant validity period you must contact us before the expiry date and we will consider an appropriate extension. If we agree to an extension we will put it in writing. If you don’t have anything in writing from us an extension has not been agreed.‌

What happens when my validity period ends?

‌We’re sorry but if you haven’t contacted us before the expiry of your package and received an extension in writing from us no extension will be possible. If you would like to swim with us again it will be a case of booking a new package. ‌
